This Privacy Policy explains how Eldarado ("we", "us") processes personal data when you use the Eldarado mobile application and the website eldaradoworld.com.
1. Who we are
Eldarado is a matching platform that helps users discover and connect with potential donors / contacts based on profile preferences. For privacy questions contact support@eldaradoworld.com.
2. What data we collect
Depending on how you use Eldarado, we may process: account details (email, authentication codes), profile information you provide (name, date of birth, physical and personal attributes, interests, location selections, photos, donation preferences), matching activity (likes, dislikes, matches, blocks), chat content you send, device push tokens, and basic technical logs needed to operate the service securely.
3. Why we use your data (purpose limitation)
We use personal profile data solely to power filtering, discovery and search inside Eldarado — so that you and other users can find relevant profiles and form mutual matches. We do not use your profile data for advertising networks, data brokerage, sale to third parties, or any unrelated commercial profiling outside the Eldarado matching product.
We also process account and security data to authenticate you, send service notifications (for example matches and messages), prevent abuse, comply with law, and operate / improve the product.
4. Photos and anonymity
Photos you upload are stored to display your profile and chat media. If you enable anonymous mode, we hide your photos from other users in discovery and related surfaces according to product settings.
5. Sharing
We share data only as needed to run Eldarado: with infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery, push notifications, object storage for media), and when required by law. Other users see the profile information you choose to make available through the product.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep data while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards as needed for security, dispute resolution and legal obligations. You may delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account). After deletion, your account is deactivated and personal identifiers are removed or irreversibly anonymised from active systems where reasonably possible.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable UK / GDPR rules, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and object to certain processing. Contact support@eldaradoworld.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
8. Children
Eldarado is for adults aged 18+. We do not knowingly create accounts for minors.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy. The latest version will always be published at eldaradoworld.com/docs/privacy and linked from the app.
